ضبط أفراد حراسة نادى الشرطة بطنطا سيدة منتقبة أثناء قيامها بتصوير النادى عقب الانفجار الأول الذى حدث داخل النادى. وبعد التحفظ عليها انفجرت القنبلة الثانية وأحدثت انفجارا هائلا وأصيب الأهالى بحالة من الفزع. وانتقلت على الفور القيادات الأمنية، وتم غلق الشارع أمام النادى، وقطع التيار الكهربائى، ويقوم خبراء المفرقعات بتمشيط النادى والمنطقة المحيطة به للكشف عن أى أجسام أخرى يشتبه أن يكون بها متفجرات.
